Responsible Gaming

Betting should be entertainment, paid for with money you can afford to lose, the same way you would pay for a movie ticket. The moment it becomes a way to earn, to recover losses or to escape stress, it has stopped doing its job. This page is here to help you keep it in its place.

Ground rules that actually work

  • Decide the budget first. Fix a weekly amount before you log in and stop when it is gone. No top-ups “just this once”.
  • Set a time limit. An alarm on your phone is enough.
  • Never chase losses. Doubling up to win it back is how small losses become big ones.
  • Do not bet when upset, drunk or tired. Judgement is the first thing to go.
  • Never borrow to bet. Not from friends, not from apps, not from a credit card.

Warning signs

Be honest with yourself if you notice any of these: hiding your betting from family, spending more than you planned most weeks, feeling restless or irritable when you cannot bet, or using money meant for bills. Any one of these is a reason to take a break.

Need a break?

Message our desk and ask for your ID to be locked. We will do it without questions, for whatever period you choose.

Where to get help

If betting is affecting your life or someone close to you, talk to someone. In India you can call the Tele-MANAS mental health helpline on 14416, which is free and available round the clock. Gamblers Anonymous India also runs meetings in several cities and online.

Age and law

This service is for people aged 18 and above. Laws on online betting and real-money gaming in India vary by state and have been tightened recently. Please check the rules where you live, and do not use this service if it is not permitted there.
